Your mountain farm holiday
How much water does each of our 12 cows drink per day, and what time do our Daunëi hens like to lay their eggs? We’ll gladly tell you all that and more. But you won’t find a classic farm holiday with haystack jumping or a petting zoo here. Instead, we’re respectfully continuing the challenging mountain agriculture that has been the livelihood of Daunëihof since its very beginning. It was one of the first places to be settled in Val Gardena/Gröden. The historic cellar, which we were able to preserve when rebuilding, stands testament to the long history of the farm: centuries-old wooden beams, medieval stone walls, a huge arched doorway – an atmospheric place for you to relax in whenever you’d like.
Farmhouse breakfast
We are happy to provide you with our homemade and other regional delicacies for your breakfast table in the morning: milk*, eggs*, yoghurt*, butter, fruit spread*, dandelion gold*, sweet pastries/cake*, cheese, cold cuts, muesli, farmhouse bread and various rolls, yeast pastries, apples, coffee, black tea, herbal tea and more, depending on the season. You can always order the products the day before. We will quietly deliver your breakfast basket to your front door the next morning at around 7.30 am. The bread roll service delivers from Monday to Saturday.
